The clients for this modern masonry and stucco house had lived in an older house on this same site: a large, level, corner lot with a scattering of oaks. The new house is designed as an "L" along the site's corner to capture the longest view of the site as a lush, quiet, private space. Outer wings of the “L” accommodate 4 bedrooms and studies, and, in the crook, sit the higher, more open, family and entertaining spaces that overlook a courtyard and pool.
